I really like the drawing, and the background is cool too, love the texture and the color. The paintings nice, but I think that it would benefit from a more defined lightsource and perhaps a bit more desaturetad colors in places. Also your linework ends up looking a bit messy as it shows throught the painting, I'd suggest using bolder and darker lines if you want to leave them visible, or than just painting over them.

very cool dragon. i like the way that you balanced the reds of the fire by having his scales on his back be red as well. i like hte background too, the chinese style really carries through because of it. what do the charaters say? anyway, nice work!

Like the shading, but the pencil lines detract from the picture. Good watercolour control.

Nice dragon! It'll be nicer if there's more space on the left side for the flame and if the flame casts some shadows on the dragon. :D What's your PSP brush settings for this?

The dragon is just awesome! I really like the mix of soft and bold colors. Though I think what I like the most of the picture is the dragon's expression. I suppose that sounds odd, but it seems to have a personality. It's not always easy to create unique facial features and expressions for characters much less creatures, but I think you've done that beautifully. It's tough to believe that's colored with PSP. As some others have said, it looks like watercolor. Now I really wouldn't mind having a tablet to work with. Just awesome work! :)

I love his expression, and the horn (although it may look a little more realistic if you could see a little of the one on the other side, behind it? Unless he's a unicorn dragon ^_^)

I like the contrast between the 'soft' look of the fire and the defined lines of his jaw, too. Good choice of colours and background :)

Great job here. But i suggest that you make use of painter instead of photoshop. The blurring makes it looked digital. I know your trying to achieved a traditional looking artwork.

Fantastic.

Wait a minute, I rocgnise that, it's from an old Carl Barks Donald Duck comic, and the dragon is actually a river monster.

If you're gonna copy something, give full credits to the original, always.

Nice copy btw.

Very nice indeed, the colors seem to be a darker hue than is normal for a chinese dragon, but it works quite well. The flame is well done if not a bit too small.
My favorite parts are the fin and the teeth(evil). Nice peice!
